I watched this the other day, and it blew my mind. Never in my life did I realise how amazing the animal Kingdom can be. Watching the journey that man and the octopus embarked on together was truly magical. I watched it with my mum, and I had a huge lump in my throat watching that, and my mum blubbered like a baby! Ok, I admit, I had tears in my eyes by the end. I keep thinking about what I saw, days after I watched it. It's not often a documentary has stayed with me like that. EVERYONE should watch this film. All animals are sentient beings. Stop eating them. Go vegan. It is scientifically proven that meat and dairy promotes cancer and heart diseases. This was disappointing. There shouldnt even be a mention of the Great White in it! I kept Fast Forwarding to Hopefully find the Great White, and sorely disappointed, that there was only a little bit about it near the End. Cuttlefish: I can't afford new skins. It's so expensive. Thought my phone was giving me a low battery warning at about 7:10. One of the most beautiful doc-movie of this decade. Recommend this to everyone. Amazing. .i cried. this is beautiful. This has touched my soul on so many levels. Stunning. I can't realize how the daughter had known that twelve was the answer. Good film and location as well as interesting story. Don't understand however how anyone filming a creature that they have befriended in a way is able to carry on filming while this creature is being attacked and not try to help. 'You don't want to interfere with nature' Really? You are already interfering with nature by filming it, befriending it and luring it out of the safety. The least you can do is try to help when it's being attacked. But I guess this way you wouldn't get your footage and make profit eh? And just how self centred can you get comparing the physical and painful attack on this poor animal to your mental state? Humans. never cease to disappoint...

The Cinematography is stunning. Diving and following an animal every single day, man that needs a different level of dedication.
What brings everything together is the story telling and the music. This documentary is a piece of art. Fish: This is so dumb but I just gonna play along with you, humans. More documentary reviews please. The cuttlefish wasn't improvising that flooring, he was alternating Cause even he knows it's ugly.

I loved this film. Im on the coast of California and outside most of my days. If you are alone, nature shows you so many things and experiences that are magical.
